Dr Hiller is an Associate Professor in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney. Her research focusses on two main areas:
She has published over 110 peer-reviewed articles and has an H index of 47.
As part of her research she developed a PROM, the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT), which is used globally as part of the assessment for chronic ankle instability (CAI). Her team was one of the first to start investigating the importance of chronic pain as a factor in CAI, which has been under recognised and of a different quality to other chronic pain conditions. Dr Hiller is currently the President of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science.
